The night we received the phone call that our good friend Jerremy Lorch had been in a swimming accident, everyone's life changed. Each day since that August evening, Jerremy has worked tirelessly to overcome the physical and mental challenges of a paralyzing spinal cord injury. Fortunately, Jerremy has many close friends and a loving family to help him through the tough days of physical therapy and rehabilitation.
What Jerremy doesn't have, is health insurance. After the company he worked for closed in March, he was on unemployment while he prepared to return to college to complete his bachelor's degree and become a teacher. Then the accident happened. The cost for intensive care, neurosurgery, occupational and physical therapy at Strong Hospital in Rochester, New York, has been staggering.
You can make a difference in Jerremy's life by making a donation. Any amount can help and your generosity will go to benefit an amazing man. He always put his friends and family first and spent much of his time raising money for organizations that help those in need. He was the top volunteer fundraiser in Monroe County in 2005 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (over $20,000) and had an active role in Big Brothers/Big Sisters just to name a few! And now you can help us return the favor to him.
Help us support Jerremy in his quest to overcome the effects of his injury and to live out his dream of returning to college and re-entering the workforce. It's our turn to help the wonderful and amazing friend that he has been to all of us.
This website is dedicated to Jerremy's recovery.
Sincerely,
Jerremy's friends and family
